The 2010 league draft has been completed and I hope everyone is happy with there teams.

Shortly the Daytona 500 will start (and thank-you NASCAR for the earlier start times) and we'll see how it all plays out. A few new rules this year, with a smaller restrictor plate and a 'hands off' approach when it comes to bump drafting. I don't know if it will lead to better racing, or more wrecks, we'll find out.

Congrats to Tim for his come from behind league victory. The native Jacksonite's return to the league proved to be a triumphant one. Despite Kevin's lead most of the year he wilted late under the pressure. Of course, EVERYONE did better then Flem, who performed worse then teams of the past picked based on how the drivers looked, or if they had funny names.

The 2010 season is almost here and I fully expect to be first champion of the new decade.

The chase begins today at 1pm on ABC at New Hampshire. Don't watch the Lions or Tigers... this will be the best action you see all day!

After proving he can almost win a race with a wrecked car, Newman will avoid other people's messes and score his first victory of the year.

After a week off the good 'ol boys are back at it. This time there will be none of that drafting, restrictor plates, follow the leader for a few hundred laps, starting at 5 pm crap. No, today is a 'bout beating and banging... and not just me banging the fast forward button anytime that damn Digger and Friends "cartoon" comes on... ugh... I hate that thing.

Somehow I've ended up in last place... but today I have both the inside and outside pole, and I plan to keep it that way.

The driver picks are open for business and smack talk can begin.

The green flag drops on the Kobalt Tools 500 from Atlanta at 2:16 PM.

After a couple of yawn inducing races to start the year, last weeks Vegas race was actually interesting to watch. Hopefully the trend continues this week.

Unfortunately I'm not leaving for a babies birthday party and will prolly miss the entire thing.....

The Auto Club 500 is on at 5pm on FOX.

The points are official now. All in all is was a rather boring race and ended abruptly. Hopefully next week at California will be better.
